Each Large sized bracelet has 56 mala beads and 1 guru bead.
All of my bracelets are handmade from semi-precious gemstone beads and lava beads. I hand knot each bead by hand. Since these are hand made, they will be made to order, so please allow a few extra days for production.
All of the bracelets include lava beads to add essential oils to enhance your experience.
How to use a Mala: start at guru bead (larger bead). Proceed with your prayer, mediation, or mantra. Saying each per bead. Proceed to the next bead and repeat. Continue until you reach the guru bead again.
Can also be used to count breaths
Wear thoughout the day as a reminder to be mindful or as a reminder for your personal mantra
Mala means garland.
The guru bead is used as a place marker for the fingers to feel for the end or the beginning of the necklace or bracelet for meditation or mantra chanting.
A common way to use the mala is to track “japa” or mantra meditation. The repetitive recitation of a single sound, such as om or a few words, or a longer mantra. You can chant out loud or whisper, or silently recite your mantra.
Similar to praying with rosary beads, meditating with a japa mala has been shown to help slow respiration and encourage well-being. Repeating the mantra of your choosing redirects the mind from daily obsessions and introduces positive thought patterns. Similar devices have been used for generations in a variety of spiritual traditions including: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Christianity, and Islam.
Mala beads help you channel an energy you’re in desperate need of. Sometimes, you don’t even know what it is you need. You simply find yourself insanely intrigued by a certain set of mala beads, only to later find out that the mala beads align with your subconscious thoughts that you didn’t even know about just yet. That’s the power of mala beads.
